Despatch

Despatch is the biannual magazine of the 47 Royal Marine Commando Association, first published in its current format in 2000. Prior to this, veterans and their families kept in touch with each other via a series of newsletters (1995-1999) published up to four times each year - hard copies of these are held on file and will be scanned and added to the website in due course.

The Association is also aware of a 'Forty Seven' newsletter and has the 1954, 1955 and November 1965 editions. Again, these will be scanned and added to the site.

Veterans' families are requested to search through any old documentation they may have for any other missing editions or historical artefacts and forward them to the Chairman. Any document received will be carefully scanned and returned to the owner if requested.
