IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF 47 COMMANDO

Every year, on the D-Day anniversary, 47 Royal Marine Commando Branch of RMA retraces and tells the story of 47's epic mission (in French and English).

This year, modern day Royal Marines Commandos will land at Gold Beach. We then walk with them following the approximate route taken by 47 Commando on 6th and 7th June 1944. The distance is about 21km (12 miles) in total.

Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a Commando to take part!
